Johnathaan Pannell serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Changing Perceptions, the organization’s most senior operations leader responsible for its daily management. He coordinates work across departments, translates organizational strategy into disciplined execution, and ensures every function remains aligned with the mission and accountable to a high standard of excellence. With extensive experience in nonprofit administration, compliance, and program design, Johnathaan brings a strong commitment to operational excellence and people-centered leadership. He oversees internal operations and the strategic delivery of programs, strengthening the systems, processes, and team coordination needed to deliver services with consistency, quality, and equity. Johnathaan previously served as Head of HR and Chief Administrative & Program Officer. Prior to his time at Changing Perceptions Johnathaan has served in several leadership roles to include Chief People & Culture Officer, Head of Talent & HR and Chief Executive Officer, to name a few. In this role, Johnathaan drives performance and accountability across administrative and program teams, turning strategic priorities into measurable outcomes for participants and the organization. Grounded in transparency, community trust, and a deep understanding of the populations served, he works closely with the Executive Director to expand Changing Perceptions’ impact while maintaining a high standard of care and operational integrity.
